Practice Approach
I am a clinical social worker and I offer client-centered Psychotherapy and EMDR. My approach is affirming, warm, collaborative, and direct. I work from an understanding that peoples’ mental health is deeply interconnected with their social environments and I am always striving to cultivate a practice that is grounded in intersectional anti-oppressive frameworks.
My work is guided by psychodynamic, attachment-based, and relational-cultural theories. I am a trained EMDR provider, and I utilize interventions from a range of therapeutic modalities, including harm reduction, narrative therapy, and mindfulness. I specialize in working with individuals seeking support to navigate experiences with identity, trauma, complex grief, ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
Education
I received my BA in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College in Hadley, MA, and my clinical Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy and Practice in Philadelphia, PA.
